Is CiCi your real name ?
Ci Ci is my nickname. It's short for Cecilia. My mother actually spelled it CC, but I thought I'd jazzy it up a bit by adding I's.
How do you relax ?
A massage, and a glass of wine (maybe the entire bottle depending on how stressed out I am) just kidding. Sometimes I just like to meditate for half an hour. It depends on how much time I have and my stress level.
Where do you desire to travel most ?
I would love to visit Africa. I have a few friends from there, and from what I hear, it's absolutely beautiful.
If CiCi's pizza wants to sponsor you would you let them ?
Hell yeah! I mean, who could turn down CiCi's Pizza ?
Whats the best tip to give to any writer ?
Don't quit. This is such a subjective business. Not everyone will "get you", but if you aren't afraid of hard work and being told no, you can make a good living being a writer.
Who inspires you as an author ?
Most of the time I gain my inspiration from the people closest to me. My husband and children are my biggest muses. Sometimes I get inspired by reading an Eric Jerome Dickey or E. Lynn Harris book.
Confess your favorite book ?
My favorite book is Your Blues Ain't Like Mine by Bebe Moore Campbell. I've read that book like 4 times. It never gets old.
